They are everyday women who all live under a world where men rule business and women rule the office. In this comedy hit of the summer, the story begins with Paula, (Eugene Domingo) is the daughter-in-law of Nimfa (Gina Pareno), she is queen of fake designer bags she earns high earning a living and puts her children through private school, a life that her irresponsible and unemployed husband cannot provide. Then there is single mom, Ada (Jennylyn Mercado), a young woman who is a call center agent by night and student by day, working hard to provide for her young son. In the process, she neglects her son and put additional strain on her relationship with her mother, Sabel (Rio Locsin). Ada is also close friends with Tobz (Carlo Aquino) who is currently having issues with his girlfriend, Wendy (Cristine Reyes) also a busy woman who does not give him time nor pleasure and whose long life goal is become an actor. While pursuing this, she meets Rodney (Rafael Rosell), who is also an attorney to celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Cleo Carillo. One of her clients/friends, Marilou (Ruffa Guttierez), a beauty queen turned CEO upon the death of her husband, is also having problems with Amanda Dela Vega, her husband's daughter from another marriage and Amanda's daughter, Dara Dela Vega (Bianca King). Dara is a Berkley graduate who is eager to prove herself at her new job for a television show; she is struggling to manager her issues from home and her issues boss, Suzanne (Carmi Martin) who is also Marilou's best friend. Another story follows Theresa (Iza Calzado), a nurse for Dr. Carillo's husband and who, is content with her work but struggles to deal with her broken heart.

This story reflects the challenges of everyday woman, involving family, love, money and the community. The story is based on the hit Viva Films Comedy 25 years ago is the sequel to Ishmael Bernal's Blockbuster top grosser in the 80's.

Mayumi (Erich Gonzales) is a girl with a happy disposition in life who dreams of meeting her "the one" someday. She has been dreaming of meeting her "the one" and having the perfect wedding ever since she was a little girl. When she meets Lance (Enchong Dee), a Chinese descendant, in a wedding, she immediately knows that he is "the one" she is waiting for, her fate and destiny. The two of them become lovers despite the unwillingness of their families to their relationship.

One day, Mayumi tells her friends about her current condition, about how she recently seems to be very choosy of what to eat and also how she always feels like urinating. Her friends immediately accompany her to the drugstore, thinking of the possibility that she might be pregnant. Turns out, Mayumi is pregnant. Her family, especially her father, is very disappointed of her and tells her to move out. Mayumi temporarily lives in Lance's house. She is forced to marry Lance. Although Mayumi loves the idea of becoming Lance's bride, Lance on the other hand has doubts on Mayumi becoming his wife. He doesn't have enough money for the extravagant wedding that Mayumi wants, since his family is not very supportive on the idea of him marrying a Filipino and also because the baby is not a boy. Being a Chinese, Lance is obliged to marry also a girl of Chinese descent to keep the Chinese blood tradition. Mayumi's family on the other hand felt they were betrayed because Lance promised to marry Mayumi because of their love child. Is marrying someone because of a baby worthy of saying "I do"?






Sa 'yo Lamang (Only Yours) is a 2010 Filipino religious-family drama film produced and released by Star Cinema. It is Star Cinema's offering for its 17th year anniversary.

First Love (A Little Thing Called Love) (Singleklek Teereakwarak), also known as Crazy Little Thing Called Love (in other Asian countries), is a 2010 Thai romantic-comedy drama film and also a 2011 Asian sleeper hit film starring Mario Maurer and Fern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon.

Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak! is a 2011 Filipino comedy film starring Vic Sotto and Bea Alonzo and produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Films, and APT Entertainment and released by Star Cinema.

Angelo (Vic Sotto) dreams of creating a medicine that could cure his father’s illness. With some knowledge about medicinal herbs, he makes a living as a faith healer. Everyone believes him, except Cielo Delos Santos (Bea Alonzo), a doctor who swears to do everything to uncover Angelo’s secret. Things get a little complicated when Angelito (Zaijian Jaranilla), an exiled angel comes down to earth to help Angelo become a better man. Catch Me... I'm in Love is a Filipino romantic film starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson. It is produced and released by Star Cinema and Viva Films. It is directed by Mae Cruz and was released on March 23, 2011. This is the first team-up of Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo in the big screen, both of them already worked in an advertisement. This is also Gerald's first film with a new leading lady.

Ang Babae sa Septic Tank chronicles a day in the life of three ambitious, passionate but misguided filmmakers as they set out to do a quick pre-prod at Starbucks, a courtesy call to their lead actress, Eugene Domingo, and an ocular inspection of their film’s major location, the Payatas dumpsite. Director Rainier, Producer Bingbong and Production Assistant Jocelyn are well-to-do, well-educated film school graduates who are dead set on making an Oscar worthy film. Praybeyt Benjamin is the story of Benjamin Santos VIII (Vice Ganda), a gay from a family of straight men who all happened to be soldiers. His father, Benjamin VII, wanted to stop from being a soldier and be a scientist instead, so Grandfather Benjamin threw them out of the house. Almost 20 years later, we see Benjamin VIII as an all-out gay, his father now a home-based scientist. Things changed when terrorists took Grandfather Benjamin and his other sons. The AFP, now lost their head general, needed more people in their side. To get more people, they required every man in the family to join their troop with their fight against the terrorists. Will Benjamin VIII join the army and save his Grandfather?

Iskul Bukol 20 Years After (Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure) is a Philippine comedy movie starring actors Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon. It is part of the Iskul Bukol franchise, depicting its characters 20 years after the end of the original TV series. It is also the fourth Iskul Bukol film (after 1977's Iskul Bukol the Movie, 1980's Iskul Bukol Freshmen, and 1987's The Best of Iskul Bukol: The Movie). The movie, which was a joint collaboration of APT Entertainment, MZET Films, and OctoArts Films, was one of the movies exhibited at the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Vic Ungasis (Sotto) is an archaeologist who has recovered the Kali of Humabon and is looking for a partner sword, the Kampilan of Lapu-Lapu, plus the Peseta, one of Judas Iscariot's 30 pieces of silver which reportedly gives the bearer immortality. Upon returning home, he reunites with the Escalera brothers, who have become successful real-estate developers. However, a Yakuza who has acquired the Kampilan wants the Peseta so it could be merged with the sword for unmatched power.

In this comedy, Judy Ann stars as Maria Rica and Sarah is Maria Cecilia, daughters of public school teachers turned OFW. Left in the care of their Lola Gerty (Gina Pareño), Rica and Cecilia grow up in Bocaue, Bulacan, where they help look after the family’s firecracker business. The two girls are inseparable. Rica takes her role as the big sister seriously, to the point of breaking up with her boyfriend, Bong (JC DeVera), and vowing to devote her life taking care of Cecil when the latter is hurt in a minor accident. Ten years come to pass and their parents return home. The family moves to Manila. Rica, though an Accounting Major graduate, chooses to sell jewelry instead of getting a professional job. Cecil, on the other hand, works as a sales clerk in a video store and a promodizer of magic sing. She meets Edsel (Luis Manzano), an insurance sales agent. Rica, sensing that the two are attracted to each other tries hard to keep them apart. Cecil, wanting to make Rica happy, tracks down Bong, but the result is the exact opposite. Rica feels betrayed, especially when she learns that her baby sister is already in a relationship. She ups and leaves. Now it’s Cecil who has to find a way to fix this. The movie is directed by Wenn V. Deramas and is written by Mel Mendoza-Del Rosario, the same team behind the record-breaking Tanging Ina series.

Isabel (Rica) and Clara (Maui), two childhood friends separated by fate. Isabel is a naive provincial lass who works as an indigenous fabric weaver while Clara is the liberated city girl. Clara has gone wild after her mother runs off with another man. The two meet after years of separation when Clara returns to the barrio to visit her father, Roman (Ricky Davao). But their cultural difference further separates them as Lando (Antonio Aquitania), Isabel's boyfriend, enters into the picture. Lando, frustrated with Isabel's conservatism and idealism, turns his attention to Clara, which irked Isabel. Isabel, in turn, seduces Clara's father. Lando, after knowing the situation, attempted to kill Roman.
